Our organization is looking to hire a full time physiotherapist with an interest and specialization in sport physiotherapy. Our multidisciplinary clinic offers personalized care in the fields of sport physiotherapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and employee health and wellness programming. Through our extensive service and program offerings, we are able to meet the needs and improve the health and well-being of a diverse range of patients throughout their lifespan. The successful applicant would maintain a diverse caseload with the ability to integrate their expertise in the area of sport and athlete management into the care of their patients.

  • You will work with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, directed towards maintaining and enhancing their physical abilities, lifestyle and well-being
  • You will be expertly assessing and treating active individuals throughout their lifespan with a variety of health conditions that impact their activity goals
  • You will be responsible for managing and prioritizing clinical caseloads, and for the coordination and delivery of therapeutic services

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful

  • You are a graduate of a recognized School of Physical Therapy
  • You are a registered member in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists (SCPT)
  • You are passionate about your profession and committed to ongoing professional development
  • You are committed to working within a supportive interdisciplinary team
  • Preferred experience and/or interest in Sport Physiotherapy Canada’s credentialing program
  • New graduates are always welcome to apply with a passion for sport physiotherapy

Craven SPORT Services has been a locally owned company for over 20 years in Saskatoon, SK. We specialize in sport physiotherapy, orthopedic rehabilitation and strength and conditioning services. We focus on interdisciplinary treatment for a large range of health and injury related concerns as well as performance goals. Our clients have access to chiropractic services, massage, nutrition, physicians and mental health services. Our sport physiotherapy division includes on-field event medical coverage, concussion management, physiotherapy treatment, rehabilitation and strength and conditioning that guides the athlete/client back to sport and/or their functional life goals. At Craven SPORT Services, our clients have access to all the specialists they need to address their overall health no matter their age, ability or goals.

Strength and Conditioning Manager

Craven SPORT Services is seeking a highly skilled, results-driven, and dynamic Manager of Strength & Conditioning to join our team and lead a group of talented strength & conditioning coaches. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with a passion for fitness and the ability to inspire others, while strategically driving the success of our strength and conditioning programs. In addition to providing direct training services, the role will also involve taking on a significant leadership and managerial role, including overseeing and optimizing team performance, client engagement, and business outcomes. If you are a motivated, strategic thinker with a passion for helping individuals reach their full potential, we want to hear from you.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of strength & conditioning coaches, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, results-driven coaching, exercise techniques, and corrective strategies that support client success.
  • Design and implement personalized strength and conditioning programs tailored to meet individual client needs, utilizing data and evidence-based practices to optimize results.
  • Direct and engage the team to consistently deliver an exceptional client experience, delivering workouts that challenge and motivate individuals while supporting their long-term health and fitness goals.
  • Exemplify leadership by fostering a positive and supportive environment for team development, motivating and empowering the personal and professional growth of the team.
  • Community engagement and communication with #TeamCraven athletes, coaches, and sport organizations across the province.
  • Utilize time management and organizational skills by effectively managing class schedules and personal training sessions, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in meeting business and client demands.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of strength and conditioning programming, managing budgets, tracking expenses, and performing financial analysis to ensure fiscal responsibility and growth of the department.
  • Collaborate with fellow management team members to align departmental strategies with company-wide goals, ensuring seamless integration of services across all areas of Craven SPORT Services.
  • Work closely with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary setting, developing integrated fitness programs that enhance injury recovery and preventative care.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the fitness industry, with a demonstrated ability of leadership in strength and conditioning roles.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both your team and clients, providing clear, motivational direction that drives results and builds lasting relationships.
  • Ability to lead and inspire others during workouts, providing consistent feedback and fostering a culture of excellence in both individual and group settings.
  • Strong applied knowledge of budgeting and financial management, with the ability to analyze and maintain monthly financials and evaluate performance year over year to support informed decision-making.
  • A strong business acumen is an asset, with the ability to think strategically and contribute to the broader success of Craven SPORT Services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or a related field. Master’s degree is an asset
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or CSEP-CEP designation or willingness to promptly become certified.
  • Valid Professional Liability coverage.
  • Current First Aid and CPR-C Certification.
  • Sport Medicine & Science Council of Saskatchewan (SMSCS) Approved Consultant status, or willingness to promptly become approved.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH

Are you a strength & conditioning coach with a passion for bringing clients ‘back to basics’ to promote long-term achievement and athlete development?
We want to hear from you!

Craven SPORT Services is actively recruiting a part-time Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our professional, evidence-based, and upbeat team in Saskatoon. Craven SPORT services specializes in the holistic treatment of a range of health concerns and injuries by incorporating physiotherapy alongside strength & conditioning, dietitian services, massage, and sports medicine. An ideal candidate will fully support an integrative and active approach to injury management, in addition to carrying these same principles forward in their work with athletes and teams at any level.

CSS Strength & Conditioning Coaches work alongside a diverse range of clientele, at all ages and stages. An ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence and experience working with individuals new to strength training, older adult populations, and athletes with performance-oriented goals. Strong customer-service skills and a positive attitude are a must. 

Applicants should arrive at this position with a minimum of their CSEP-CPT (or equivalent), and a bachelor’s degree (in kinesiology, physical education, or a related field). CSCS or CSEP-CEP are not required but considered an asset.


Qualifications:

  • CSEP-CPT (or other equivalent like CSCS or CSEP-CEP)
  • A bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, physical education, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience working in personal or group training environments, preferably with a range of demographics and experience levels 
  • Past experience in an interdisciplinary rehabilitation setting will be considered an asset 
  • The ability to support Clients in an additional language will be considered an asset
  • Past experience with G-Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc) will be considered an asset

This position currently includes part-time hours, with the opportunity for growth towards a full-time schedule. Please note that evening and weekend work will be required.
