The OnTrack Step Up for Mental Health Program is presented by Craven SPORT Services in collaboration with the 321 Go Running and the Step Up for Mental Health Run.

OnTrack Running Club is a weekly running program designed to elevate your fitness journey while keeping your body in top-notch condition. Whether you’re a beginner looking to prepare for your first race, an experienced runner aiming to improve your pace, a brand new runner, or someone returning to running after an injury or break, OnTrack is here to help you meet your specific needs and goals.

Half-marathon Program-June 23, 2025

10K Program-July 7, 2025

5K Program-July 21, 2025

LOCATION

Running programs and trainer contact will be virtual.

2K time trials included in the program will take place at locations in Saskatoon.

INVESTMENT

Registration after June 6, 2025:

$60 5K (8 week program)

$80 10K (10 week program)

$100 Half-marathon (12 week program)

DETAILS

Upon signing up for the OnTrack Step Up for Mental Health Program, you will receive a weekly running schedule going from the program start date until the Step Up for Mental Health run, which takes place on September 19-20, 2025.

Your weekly schedule will consist of either distances or times to run, as well as rest times and days incorporated.

Upon registration, you will also be able to directly contact your coaches virtually, where they can provide you with help and tips to assist you on your running journey.

The OnTrack Step Up for Mental Health Program aims to help you to reach your running goals and to hit the ground running on race day!

MEET YOUR COACHES

Jason Warick, Craven SPORT Services OnTrack Coach

Jason has been coaching athletes of all ages, abilities and backgrounds for the past 25 years. He’s a certified NCCP Performance Coach in two sports – track and field and speed skating. Jason played competitive soccer, hockey and volleyball as a youth, and is the Saskatchewan record holder in the marathon (2 hours, 19 minutes). He’s represented Canada internationally and has trained or raced in more than 20 countries, from Germany to Kenya to Australia. He still enters the odd running or cross-country ski event, but he’s most proud to be one of the few people who can go for a run, bike or ski with both his kids, Angelina and Taras, and his parents, Randy and Judy.

Bruce Craven is an expert physiotherapist at Craven SPORT services in Saskatoon. He works closely with high performance athletes and oversees the mentorship of physiotherapists across the CSS team.

Bruce is an internationally recognized Sport Physiotherapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach, with over 31 years of experience working with athletes in over 40 different sports, competing at provincial, national, international and Olympic/Paralympic competitions. Bruce has his Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Associate clinical professor at the University of Saskatchewan School of Physical Therapy, a sessional lecturer in the College of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan, an instructor for the National Coaches Association of Canada, and a member of the Canadian Sport Center’s National Sport Medicine and Science Committee. Bruce is a highly-sought presenter who couples expertise with skilled teaching abilities.
