Brandi’s personal bests include:
“Brandi Venne is an accomplished track and road runner and an aspiring trail and ultra runner from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. On this episode, we talk about her running history, what inspires her to run, and about how she made running her full-time gig. We even get into some nerdy shoe talk towards the end of the show.

"Last year, I signed up to run the 2025 Chicago Marathon. I’d run a PB in Chicago in 2008 and had another great race there in 2023 — but the thought of training and racing in The Windy City again didn’t give me the usual push or drive."

"When you sign up for a race — regardless of the distance — one of the most important things to do before you start training is ask yourself “why?” Why do you want to devote your time, energy, body and mind to this endeavor?"
