Mackenzie graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a B.Sc.(Kin) with Great Distinction in 2008 and immediately enrolled in the School of Physical Therapy, completing his Masters of Physical Therapy in 2010. Since finishing school, Mackenzie has completed courses in the Manual Orthopaedic Level System, obtained his GunnIMS needling certification and has completed other courses in NeuroReconditioning, vestibular rehabilitation concussion management.
Mackenzie’s practice has been centered around orthopaedic rehabilitation with a manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and needling focus. Mackenzie’s other clinical areas of interest include concussions, vestibular rehabilitation, and TMJ/jaw.
Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons. He cycles to work every day and stays active with HIIT workouts, yoga, ultimate (frisbee), and attempts to find time to train for the occasional triathlon. Mackenzie’s family enjoys the great outdoors and takes advantage of the summer months to camp whenever possible.
