Tyrell was raised on a bison farm near Carrot River. During his post-secondary studies, he competed as a student-athlete in Husky Track and Field. Following his university graduation, Tyrell initially worked as a teacher before transitioning into strength and conditioning coaching, a field that aligns more directly with his professional passions and interests. He joined Craven SPORT Services, drawn by the positive community impact and atmosphere. Tyrell aims to continually refine his expertise as a trainer alongside the team’s experienced staff. He remains actively involved in track and field as a throws coach. Outside of his professional endeavors, Tyrell competes in Highland Games and enjoys spending time with his partner and cats.
