After a long pause, many sports are resuming play across Saskatchewan. With an increase in sport and play comes an increase in the likelihood of concussion. Appropriate awareness, response, and management of concussions can dramatically improve outcomes, reduce long-term symptoms, and inform return-to-sport planning.
Topics covered in this webinar will include:
-What is a concussion?
– How do we recognize a possible concussion?
-What are the next steps you should take if you suspect a concussion?
-What is involved in the concussion rehabilitation process?
-How do I know when it is safe to return to school and sports?
