Designed for athletes of all ages, this program is ideal whether you’re aiming to enhance your competitive edge or achieve specific performance goals.
DRY-ICE is a high-performance dry-land hockey training program in Saskatoon.

With a focus on measurable results, this program ensures that you’re always improving and performing at your best.

What can I expect?

Training takes place at the Craven SPORT Services Training Centre, a 4,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment. The program, developed by physiotherapists Curtis Kulchar and Bruce Craven, combines:

  • Strength and Conditioning: Customized exercises designed to enhance hockey-specific movements
  • Athlete Testing and Monitoring: Evidence-based evaluations to track progress and set clear goals.
  • Comprehensive Dryland Training: Structured sessions with specific performance outcomes in mind.
Sessions are available for various age groups and are scheduled throughout the year, providing flexibility for athletes to join and train consistently. The DRY ICE Hockey & Ringette Program is a game-changing initiative for players serious about taking their skills and performance to the next level.

Investment: $420.00 + tax

This program was designed and founded by CSS Physiotherapist Curtis Kulchar with additional program direction from Bruce Craven. Sessions are instructed by members of our Strength & Conditioning team!

Working with our team of professionals means that athletes build strength, agility, and speed all under the constant monitoring and support of experts in their field who keeps both long-term performance and injury-prevention in mind.

Athletes in DRY ICE are also included into our #teamcraven model, providing expedited access to in-house physiotherapy, IST management, social media promotion, and the Craven Integrated Health Network.

Each payment is considered final after it is received by Craven sport services. CREDIT FOR SESSIONS MISSED CANNOT BE CARRIED FORWARD INTO FUTURE SESSION BLOCKS.

Craven SPORT Services offers a comprehensive range of training services, including one-on-one personal training, supervised group training, and specialized group programs. Each service is designed to meet different needs, from personalized, focused coaching to group settings that provide motivation and community. Our services cater to individuals of all fitness levels, aiming to improve strength, confidence, and overall health.
Your journey begins with our Intro Package, which includes a functional movement assessment and personalized program planning. Based on this assessment and your personal goals, our Strength & Conditioning Coaches will recommend the most suitable training service for you, whether it’s one-on-one personal training for tailored guidance, supervised training for a balance of independence and support, or specialized group programs to meet specific fitness goals.
Absolutely. Our training services are highly customizable. During the initial stages of your Intro Package, we take the time to understand your fitness goals, assess your movement, and identify areas for improvement. This allows us to create a personalized exercise program that aligns with your objectives, whether you’re looking to build strength, increase flexibility, or enhance athletic performance.
