Physiotherapy Clinic Saskatoon FAQs

The frequency of your physiotherapy sessions depends on your specific condition and the treatment plan devised by your physiotherapist. Initially, you might need to attend sessions more frequently, possibly 1-2 times per week, to gain momentum in your recovery. As you progress, the frequency may decrease. Your physiotherapist will assess your progress and adjust the treatment plan accordingly to ensure optimal recovery.
Absolutely. Physiotherapy is highly effective in managing chronic pain. It addresses the root causes of pain through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and education on pain management strategies. Your physiotherapist will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan aimed at reducing your pain, improving your mobility, and enhancing your overall quality of life, teaching you how to manage your condition effectively.
Physiotherapy is beneficial for a wide range of conditions, including injuries, chronic pain, post-surgical recovery, and mobility issues. If you're experiencing pain, reduced mobility, or other symptoms affecting your physical function, physiotherapy might be right for you. Booking an initial assessment at Craven SPORT Services is a great first step to determine how physiotherapy can help meet your health goals.
Your first session will involve a detailed assessment of your condition, including a discussion about your medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals. Your physiotherapist will perform a physical examination to assess your mobility, strength, and pain levels. Based on this assessment, they will develop a personalized treatment plan.
